I am an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and a 200-hour registered yoga teacher. I am also currently working on my PhD in Exercise Psychology at Georgia State University, where I focus on the design and testing physical activity programs that motivate people to be more active.
My yoga journey began 7 years ago in a college yoga class and it literally changed my life. Yoga taught me how to listen to my body and take better care of it. Self-care is so important, yet it is often ignored. I enjoy being able to share yoga in a way that encourages others to be kinder to themselves as they find their way along their wellness journey. In each class, I aim to encourage each student to be fully present and attentive to his/her physical and emotional needs. As Thich Nhat Hahn said best, "nothing is more precious than being in the present moment. Fully alive, fully aware." Take some time to do something good for your body and meet me on the mat!
In my free time, I like to bake, read, and spend as much time as possible with my family and friends.
I am an Atlanta native and Grady Baby! I am currently a RYT-200 Yoga and Meditation teacher and have also received training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga techniques. I truly enjoy creating a healing space when teaching gentle and restorative yoga to help foster a deeper connection with self and source.
I am a certified Theta Healer, Reiki Level I & II practitioner as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. As a teacher, I seek to provide a transformational space for those in need of a place to breathe, renew, and heal.
When I'm not on the mat, I create natural body products to offer additional healing experiences for the mind, body, and spirit.

Hi! I’m Khadeshia. My first exposure to meditation was in 2005 when I relocated from Brooklyn to Atlanta. My cousin, who lived next door, would listen to audio books and guided meditations. While I consider life experiences to be yoga off the mat, the relevance of my relationships and self- reflection was not clear until I developed my own practice of meditation and stillness. After working several jobs that conflicted with my belief in wellness, I decided it was time to deepen my practice and consider teaching yoga.
In 2016 I obtained my 200hr RYT certification. I taught in many places and found there was something missing … my voice! Through deepening my practice, I began to focus more on freedom through teaching for myself and my students. My teaching style can be described as student-focused and hear-felt. I like to give students options for each pose and encourage them to explore how each posture feels mentally and physically. Postures are held for 4 to 6 breaths, or more, to allow students at every level to experience the posture , stay connected to the breath, and cultivate mindfulness.
My goal is to create a heart-opening, transformative yoga experience that inspires students to connect their practice to life off the mat and cultivate complete wellness.
Hi! I'm Michelle Flory and I'm so glad to be here! My yoga journey began in a gym in Seattle in 2008. What I thought was going to be a workout ignited a deeper awareness with myself and the world. I graduated with a 200-hour training certificate under the guidance of Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati at Kashi Atlanta Ashram in 2012. I specialize in a grounded teaching style and create fun, accessible sequences. I will encourage you to trust your inner teacher.
As a student of occupational therapy, I share knowledge of anatomy and the body systems to deepen your connection with the postures. I also love a good playlist!

In my free time I'm playing guitar, hiking, and learning acro-yoga. =)
Influenced by my teachers, peers, environment, and travels, I aim to bring a unique sense of strength and capability to each of my classes. I teach in a way that reinforces confidence while maintaining a humble heart. We'll enjoy a mix of posture demonstration and hands-on adjustments on the mat. I take the time to instruct in proper alignment for safety and strength while following the breath and flowing to non-traditional mood music. I teach beginner and power vinyasa, as well as yin and restorative yoga. I'm enthusiastic about sharing practice with my students in hopes that you, too, will grow to love the mind, body & soul benefits of yoga. Off the mat - I love to travel! I enjoy the love and support of an amazing network of friends and family. I volunteer locally with health, historic, and artistic foundations and support national awareness and protection of animals and our environment.
I am 200-hour registered with Yoga Alliance, accredited with Yoga Warriors International, trained in Baptiste Yoga, and CPR certified.
